How You Can Help

Dear Friends of Probation Challenge:

As volunteers with the Probation Challenge Television Production team, we would like to solicit your assistance in providing some needed equipment for Probation Challenge's Multimedia and Television Training Center. This equipment will be used to train youth and residents in the outlying community.

Currently, the television production team is responsible for a weekly audio broadcast over the Internet and a local cable television show, aired on Channel-21. On both shows we have featured major recording artists, authors, motivational speakers, public figures, etc. The results of both programs have been overwhelming, and have received rave reviews by our viewers.

Our television studio is comprised entirely of volunteers and students, and relies on donations, community support and sponsorship. Fund-raisers and events are also held to raise money to keep the Probation Challenge program financially feasible, while at the same time provide a positive and conducive educational environment for our youth. Your contribution will help us keep production costs down and keep the Television Training and Media Center viable.

We are in the process of putting this Multimedia and Television Training Center together, and are requesting your assistance with a multimedia studio sponsorship.

Currently, we are in need of the following equipment: Stage Set Kit (Background), $700; two professional industry standard 3ccd digital cameras, $2500 and $4900; Light Kit, $1200; 2 (two) Avid MCX press editing systems, $12,000; Mackie Sound Board, $600; 4 (four) Digital 8 cameras for student check-outs, $700 each; 3 (three) PowerMac G4 workstations and 3(three) Sony Vaio workstations for web development, streaming audio and video editing, graphics and animation, $1600 each; and various software packages ranging from $150 to $1200 (list available upon request).

For your sponsorship and support:
1. Your donation will be listed in The Challenge Newsletter;
2. Your business will be advertised or recognized as a sponsor during our broadcasts on the Internet and Cable Channel-21;
3. Your business will be displayed on our Website
4. You will receive a "Thank You" Plaque/Certificate;
5. You will receive a signed contract for your records;
6. And we welcome your visit to be in attendance at any of our Television/Internet broadcasts.
7. You will be listed in our Sponsors' book, which will be distributed to students, supporters and sponsors. But in order to be included in this book, you must submit your paid sponsor information by August 1, 2002.

Please send your sponsorship request to:
